OMG, I got really excited when you started collaging with the book pages - and I spotted a page of Greek which I think is a gorgeous looking alphabet😍 TFS 😺

Hi again👋, I'm still catching up! I _have- used sandpaper to prime my new stamps 👀👀👀, I find it useful where there is a design I like but I want to make it a bit more grungy looking😶‍🌫. Otherwise, I use a rubber or sometimes just rubbed my fingers on them enough to get rid of the stickiness. A technique I love using is "kissing" stamps. Like when you demonstrated the mirror stamping, but using the right side of it not the back to get both designs when you stamp on the page. It works well if use use a smaller design on a bigger, bold print. Also, it's useful for people to know that the Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress inks are great for embossing with, both the original inks and the oxide inks are fab as they are slower drying than standard dye inks. And Versafine, as it's pigment ink is perfect for embossing with too. It means you can get coloured embossed stamped images without coloured embossing powders. As always, TFS 🥰😍😘

I always love a longer vid Asia 🙂. Also, thanks re my new job. It's taking up a lot of extra time being the early days, which of course eats into my 'leisure' time, but I'm enjoying the challenge of something new. Re the unmounted rubber stamps, the clear sticky stuff you mentioned is something I bought earlier this year. I had a whole load of rubber stamps I bought used years ago from ebay, and some I took off the wood mounts, that I had run out of the sheets of cling mount for and couldn't find more of at a reasonable price. Anyway, it's called *📌Tack'n'Peel🩹, and it's by Tsukineko,* the same company that makes the Versafine, Versamark, etc and StazOne inks. I find Tack'n'Peel really handy as it can also be used to stamp with random household items such as bits of styrofoam from packaging that makes a fab textured image. Anyway, bye for now ❤🧡💛
